Dr. Bruno is a board certified ophthalmologist and a recognized Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He specializes in anterior segment, cataract surgery, as well as comprehensive ophthalmology and plastic surgery. Dr. Bruno served as Chairman of the Ophthalmology Department and President of the Medical Staff at Suburban General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. From 1977 to 2006 he was the Director and leading surgeon of Allegheny Eye Center.
Dr. Bruno has also been a surgical instructor to ophthalmology reisdents for many years. He received his medical degree from Cordoba National University, Argentina and completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Eye and Ear Hospital.
